By a Nabataean Spirit
The Nabatean characters forming our logo embodies a profound historical heritage, symbolizing our commitment to the deep-rooted identity of Jordan and the region. Considered as a bridge between the Aramaic and the Arabic alphabets, the Nabataean alphabet was used to write the Aramaic language between approximately 150 BC and AD 150 in the Nabataean kingdom of Petra.
The seven-pointed star stands for the unity of land, faith, and people, all seamlessly woven into the fabric of Jordan’s landscapes. The star’s seven points refer to the seven hills Amman was built on.
